Fat Free Rails 2.3.4 breaks Heroku Compatability

Fat Free works fine on Heroku pre Rails v2.3.4 with the SaturnFlyer instructions (http://saturnflyer.com/blog/jim/2009/09/08/fat-free-crm-on-heroku/) for installation of FatFree on Heroku. Fat Free does not work with any heroku sass plugin that I could locate for the edge release.
The most recent commit that I could get working on heroku is the commit by Rit Li commit a8777.
