Same here, specific steps to reproduce is all I need. Please include URLs so I know where you're editing tasks. What is "change status" for a task?

    1. Goto [Tasks] tab
    2. Create a task by just typing in name, say "footask", other fields just leave it
    3. Save task
    4. Task "footask" should appear with category "Others"
    5. Edit "footask" by clicking on "edit"
    6. Edit pane should pop up
    7. Immediately just save. Don't key in or change any fields
    8. "footask" disappears!
    9. Reload browser, "footask" reappears.

    • State changed from “new” to “hold”

Works for me... Tested with tip of the master in FF and Safari on Mac/Snow Leopard.

CONFIRMED that this is a cross-browser problem.
This DOESN't work on the below combination:

    [waisun@caspar config]$ rpm -q opera
    opera-10.01-4682.gcc4.shared.qt3.x86_64

    [waisun@caspar config]$ uname -av
    Linux caspar.sqci.biz 2.6.30.9-99.fc11.x86_64 #1 SMP Tue Nov 17 21:30:38 EST 2009 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

    [waisun@caspar config]$ cat /etc/redhat-release
    Fedora release 11 (Leonidas)
