facebox images broken path on production mode

the bacebox.css images:
background:url(../images/facebox/b.png)
are resulting on 404 because stylesheet lives in cache subdirectory:
ActionController::RoutingError (No route matches "/stylesheets/images/facebox/tr.png" with {:method=>:get}):
